The gravel driveway is steep, especially in inclement weather. A 4x4 vehicle is strongly recommended. Experienced drivers may navigate it with FWD/RWD if comfortable on gravel terrain. There's a sharp right turn at the top of the driveway, so take care as you ascend. A helpful video will be emailed at booking.
While enjoying your stay, be mindful of bugs, ticks, and occasional critters—keep food sealed and check for ticks after outdoor activities. Watch out for poison ivy and other harmful plants and avoid touching unfamiliar greenery. Admire wildlife from a distance and ensure trash is secured to prevent attracting animals.
We’re nestled in a very rural area where cell phone service might be unreliable. The nearest grocery store is about a 20-minute drive, so we recommend arriving well-prepared to ensure a relaxing stay.
With over 100 acres of land, including wooded trails and old logging roads, there’s plenty to explore. Please hike responsibly and at your own risk. Be aware of cliffs on the property—rock climbing and rappelling are strictly prohibited. Exercise general hiking precautions and enjoy the natural beauty safely.
