The Thompson family matriarch, Charlotte Thompson, shined when she was in service to others. She was a natural hostess and found great joy sharing her home and her land with guests, neighbors, and friends. She was an absolute delight, and her memory is felt in every corner of our Inn. The legacy of Charlotte and The WildWood Acres continues now through her children and their children.
Our cabin nestled in the woods on over 100 acres was created by the loving hands of the Thompson family and their neighbors, built log-by-log from the trees on this very property almost 50 years ago.
Our hope is to have others enjoy the peace and joy that this house and Rush Creek Valley has provided to our family for so many decades.
